Dear DES SIG,Who is planning to attend OFW6 at Penn State this summer? Do you want to hold a meeting of the DES SIG? Who wants to be the organizer/leader of this SIG Meeting? Please volunteer! Also, feel free to discuss potential meeting topics beforehand, so that the meeting is productive!Early registration deadline (May 1) for OFW6 is rapidly approaching!Best regards,Eric Paterson

Dear all, a thread I started (File handling and other topics on the DES project) occurs twice and cannot be accessed or read. I am sorry for that and I already submitted a bug report on http://sourceforge.net/apps/mantisbt/openfoam-extend/. I hope the problem will and can be solved. Best regards, Ulf.

Dear all, everyone in the group as of today has been invited to the Detached-Eddy Simulation project here on extend. That is where we will exchange files and handle all our files, tasks and schedules. Best regards, Ulf.

Dear all, please join the 'Detached-Eddy Simulation' project: http://www.extend-project.de/index.php?Itemid=47&option=com_projectfork There, we should put all the files, define a directory structure according to the source-code structure and define tasks. Here, in the 'Detached-Eddy Simulation' group we can discuss and exchange information.Best regards, Ulf.

Thanks! That's exactly how it was supposed to be... Exchange information and discuss within the working groups and organize the work within the sub-projects using the project management... best regards, Holger

Hi Ulf,where can I download the code for the new hybrid convection scheme.Could you please post a link.

Hi Christian!
It is intended to provide the files on the 'Detached-Eddy Simulation' Community-driven collaborative project which has been set up yesterday. However, the directory structure still has some bugs as you can read in the bug tracker or on the thread 'Hybrid RANS-LES group on the 5th OFWS - follow up' in this group. Hopefully, this is a minor bug. You can already check the directories I created there and see the problem for yourself. The directory hierarchy gets mixed up....
Best regards, Ulf.

Most of our contributions as files or codes should be provided and organized in the Detached-Eddy Simulation project here on extend. You can find it under "Community-driven Collaborative Projects" on the left menu below "Community".
