Present status of Documentation Project? 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hi,
I wonder what is the present status of the community-based documentation project? Is it still active? What are the possible methods of contributing to this effort?

I have documented things in the wiki as figure them out. A sort of notes about area. I have been working with interDyMFoam, which is hardly documented at all. I have made notes about it in: openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Main_UserGuid..._6:_Post-processing. I added these tables based on the code, which is difficult to follow. In some cases, I made my best guess.

I would think the best thing is to add notes to the wiki, when you figure something out.

Yes, the wiki is a good place to contribute. I wrote several articles on the inner-workings of the code, and some of the theory. They are found here:

openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Category:OpenFOAM®_guide

It's a bit ugly: I use wiki categories to organize it. It also isn't very visible and hasn't had many other contributors. A wiki effort like this needs to be more visible, and less intimidating to would-be contributors.
