Interface refinement - AMR? 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Dear Floaters

Has anybody had experience with LTSinterFoam and adaptive mesh refinement in order to capture the water-air interface better? I tried a wigley-type hull with dynamicMeshDict in the constant/ directory with the following contents (stolen from the damwall break tutorial):

dynamicFvMesh dynamicRefineFvMesh;

dynamicRefineFvMeshCoeffs
{
refineInterval 1;
field alpha1;
lowerRefineLevel 0.001;
upperRefineLevel 0.999;
unrefineLevel 10;
nBufferLayers 2;
maxRefinement 2;
maxCells 2000000;
correctFluxes
(
(
phi
U
)
);
dumpLevel true;
}

But it does not seem to be doing anything.

Any pointers?
