TOPIC: Parallelisation of GGI cases

Parallelisation of GGI cases 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi all,

I am currently experiencing some difficulties with parallelising my own GGI cases.

As far as I was aware the GGI should work in parallel as long as the faceZones are preserved during decomposition.

I am finding that in parallel, I get a warning such as 'Uncovered faces found'. Eventually the Courant number becomes very large and the simulation crashes.

I have set 'bridgeOverlap' parameter is the 'boundary' file to 'true' (see attached)

When I run other cases, e.g. the TSG, in parallel, there is not such error.

Does anyone know the reasons for this? As far as I can see, the set up I have is very similar to TSG case.

Regards,

Thomas
