questions about various new development on OF 1 Year, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Dear OpenFOAMers:

I have been mostly followed the official OpenFOAM® released by OpenCFD®. I recently read the slides presented by Professor Jasak at the 5th OpenFOAM® Workshop: "OpenFOAM®: Year in Review". It looks like there are lots of exciting new developments for OpenFOAM®-Extend. For examples: re-meshing with Tet edge swapping, Overset Grid, VulaSHAKA, and unified Linux, Mac OS-X, and Windows. Is there a plan to include all these new developments into OpenFOAM®-extend? Will there be documents on these new developments? Where to get them?

I apologize posting the questions here, but, I have no idea where to post them. I am not sure it is appropriate to post them on the cfd-online/OpenFOAM® forum.

The tet remeshing stuff is close to its final stages of stable development, and will be available on OF-dev/ext before the end of this year. Do keep a lookout for the release.
