Contributions to the next -Extend Release

Dear All,

The time has come to close the specification of the next OpenFOAM-Extend release. I would like to call all who plan to contribute to finalise their work and let me know what to expect by the end of January 2011.

Once the list of contributions is complete, we will have a 2-week period in 1-15/Feb to create git branches and dump source code, tutorial cases and documentation into them. Branches will then be reviewed and merged in the usual day.

The second phase of integration and testing will be led by the Special Interest Groups (SIGs). This is also a good time for SIGs to build on the automatic test harness implemented by Martin (Thank You) to contribute cases for automatic testing.

For the moment, I would like you to drop me a brief E-mail saying what your plans are. For details on the mechanics of contributing, please see http://www.extend-project.de/

Looking forward to it,

Hrvoje Jasak
